Devastated Rooney apologised to England fans

England soccer star Wayne Rooney is feeling absolutely devastated and gutted to team's loss to Uruguay which eventually put England out of the world cup. Rooney expressed his feeling on Facebook and said that he was "absolutely devastated" and "gutted" by the losses to Italy and Uruguay in Group D.

The 28-year-old Manchester United striker said, "Sorry to all the fans that travelled and at home that we haven`t done better,". Rooney did manage to get his first World Cup finals goal in the Uruguay game.

Costa Rica beat Italy 1-0 on Friday, snuffing out any remaining hope for England.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere also messaged the same to England fans.

"Gutted doesn`t come close to how I am feeling right now. Sorry to all the fans who came out and supported us, and everyone back home," the 22-year-old Arsenal player said on his Twitter account.

England have faced a lot of criticism in media but the English Football Association has insisted it will stick with coach Roy Hodgson for the Euro 2016 qualifiers.

“I dreamt this, I dreamt this…”, said Yuvraj of Football, Luiz Suarez

Just like our own Yuvraj who was taking pain killers during the 2011 Cricket World Cup and eventually played a vital role in winning the cup, the football world cup has find its own Yuvraj in Luiz Suarez who was on the wheel chair one month just before the start of the world cup.

Suarez was out of word and overwhelmed by the emotion after scoring twice to send England on the verge of making an exit from the the ongoing world cup.

“I dreamt this, I dreamt this…” he just managed to say. Then, after a pause, he added, “I’m enjoying this moment, because of all I suffered, the criticism I received. So, there you go.” Luiz Suarez said in the post match conference.

One month back, Suarez was in a wheelchair after undergoing knee surgery. Now, he had miraculously staged a recovery, taken the field, netted two goals and a famous victory for his country. In this moment, for Uruguay – a country with a population of just 3.5 million – Suarez is Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar all rolled into one. He is their world beater; he is their genius; he is their saviour. England, Liverpool can all wait – this is bigger, much bigger, said a report publish in the Firstpost.com while praising the star.
